Chapter History

The Center of the Valley Chapter, National Society of The Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR), was founded on October 6, 2012, in Valley Center, California, with 14 organizing members.  As of May 2020, the chapter had 31 active members, three prospective members, and three associate members.

Chapter members are actively involved with community libraries, schools, hospitals, churches, museums, and veteran and active duty military associated organizations, building an impressive record of community service, historic preservation, and service to our country's military.

Chapter members are from Valley Center, Escondido, San Marcos, and various other cities in San Diego. One member lives in Arizona, and two members live in Texas.  Local residency is not a requirement for membership in any chapter.
