Chapter History

The Center of the Valley Chapter, National Society of The Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR), was founded on October 6, 2012, in Valley Center, California, with 14 organizing members.  As of December 2016, the chapter had 23 active members, four prospective members, and five associate members.

Chapter members are actively involved with community libraries, schools, hospitals, churches, museums, and veteran and active duty military associated organizations, building an impressive record of community service, historic preservation, and service to our country's military.

Many of the chapter's members are from Valley Center.  We also have members from Escondido and the San Fernando Valley.  Local residency is not a requirement for membership in any chapter.
